Halo Projector headlights

After adjusting the headlights up allot, I started to get a slight bounce but to fix that, what I did was get a little Styrofoam and tucked it in.

allot of depends on your car, If you have a 2000 or earlier you can just take the fuse out. That is located right in the glove box to the right. Take that cover off and the fuse is in there. Actually that goes for a Grand Prix from 97 to 2003, I don't know about later models

I just manually turn them off every time. I'm gonna look now to see if the is a DRL fuse

Hey you get any pics of the output these spyder halo projectors put out? I was thinking about getting one for our SUV but they dont make it for ours. So for a car if i were to get one soon i would just do retrofit, i found out by looking at some vids on youtube that the retrofit output is waaaay better than these projectors.

I will try to get a photo tomorrow night

Ya its no rush, take you time and do it right the first time. Cause its a pain having to do everything all over again if something goes wrong.

I am not sure they are Spyders, I got them off eBay. Anyways all those lights you see on the their and others website, you can buy for the fraction of the price on eBay. All those stores like Spyder are only distributors or just stores selling lights, they do not make them. Same lights!

Ya i order from amazon, got GP Headlights last year for like 70$ a pair and split fogs for 30$ a pair

I have that set I bought used from a guy, they bounce but I got that fixed with a **** ton of glue, and with halogen H1 bulbs the projectors are bright enough to see anything I need to but the beams are crossed which doesn't bother me but to some it could get annoying. once I get the money ill throw in some 6k or 8k w/ matching fogs . . . ill try to get a pic tonight and post it just for a better idea of how they work

I just used Styrofoam to do the job at fixing the bouncing. Basically, I aligned them about 2 inches low and then added the Styrofoam about 2 inches thick to raise the bumper cover up underneath the lights. Nice and firm! No bouncing

I got the lights finally working good but I have a question, are the beams suppose to cross? I noticed that on the road when I had then low and I seen the lights cross each other

I dont think they are suppose to, the left should be shining on the left and the right should be on the right.

mine, a 2001 I had to unhook the heat sink under the drivers side a-piller. I still have auto's and I have the halos wired to +12v switched so there come on with the key

Adjusted the headlights out more so hopefully that will stop the beams from crossing. Not sure you can get away from that because there isn't enough adjustment and the inner part of the light would have to stick out too far. This morning ran the car through the car wash and no moisture in the lights which is a plus because my other projectors get moisture like crazy.

I still have the auto lights activated at dusk on mine, just disconnected a yellow wire from the DRL module so the headlights don't come on, just the parking and fog lights come on. As a added bonus with that, the headlights don't flash which is good if you have HID's installed.
