OK, I've had 9007 HID kit with the 9007 harness in my car for a bit. Now I've gone to the ebay projectors, so I got a set of H1 HID bulbs and H1 harness because I want to have the halogen high beams work but the HID lows stay on too. Right now, I still have the 9007 harness plugged in to the blue headlight connector on the passenger side.
My question seems stupid but how do I properly connect the H1 harness?
I assume I am just connecting the power and ground and then just the plugs for the 2 ballasts. The square 3 prong connector and the 2 wires coming from it just gets taped up and not used? Then the blue headlight connectors get plugged into the blue connector on the projectors and the halogen high beams will run off stock wiring?
On the H1 HID bulbs, there are the 2 wires for the ballasts and then the 2 other wires with spade connectors like on a regular halogen bulb. Do they need to be connected also?
I just don't want to fry anything.
