Yeah supercharger oil is pretty easy dude. Where in Socal are you?

yes 4 0z is not enough....it is somewhere around 8 some take a little more, some a little less.

how dark was your sc oil? how bad did it smell? LOL......how many miles are on your car?

It was SO Dark! Looked like my engine oil. It smelled really bad too. So it was a good thing I changed it!​

I have 115K miles on it.

I would also get a couple cans of break kleen, good for cleaning up oil messes and drys fast

he already did it all last night. What is the brake kleen for? To clean up the pan?

Yea in and around it, its good for cleaning up oil leaks too
I do it any time its in on the hoist or oil change, my pwrstering/oilpan leaks
Its gd chit lol

I had to stare at that for a minute to figure out what I was looking at. Was that a 2 liter bottle?

Guys i have a 2008 gp base model with 45k miles and i was going to put it to dealers here in rochester ny for a transmission flush and they said they are going to hook it up the machine and flush the transmission which im not a fan of doing as the metal deposits can go all over the tranny and might end up ruining my tranny. I have done the flushing in some other imports when i was in srilanka and we had issues afterwards. So i was thinking twice. Now im planning on just dropping the pan and doing the change of oil myself and this is the first time im doing anything on a domestic car. I try to take care of my cars as best as possible. I run full synthetic motor oil in 3000mile intervals. So i need to do the tranny fluid as well just to be on the safe side. I also do a full coolent change every 12-15k miles.

The question which i got is that can i use a full synthetic transmission oil on this? If so what is the best tranny oil i should use on this? Do they have any full synthetic tranny fluid for our cars? And whats the usual interval i should change tranny fluid. ?

50K miles if you are agressive, 100K miles if you're easy on it.

Don't necro old threads, just start new ones.

It makes more sense because we dont have to hunt for your post on the last page.

You can get synthetic or dexron VI, its up to you. They're both pretty expensive fluids.
