So i was on my home from my ladies house today. I saw the new camaro so i thought lets see what this thing can do. I pulled up next to him at a red started reving up the V8. He looked at me and smiled. i knew it was on. light turn green and i pulled on him till 50 than i was only ahead by one leath at 100 and that was good enough for me.

If it was an rs then it had the v6. Thing is the v6 in the maros has over 300 horses now. Good fuel economy and still has good power. Not bad. The bad boy v8s r supposed to click off 13 flat in the quarter. So it had to of been a sixer. Good job though bro

SS would have walked ya. V6's put out 1 more HP than the LS4 in the GXP. Lighter too and RWD.

Isn't this the same guy that said he beat a Corvette?
 


What? A stock gtp runs like 15 flat in the quarter. A stock rs camaro would take any stock gtp. My car just now runs 14.1 and I have a 3.4 setup.
 
Errrrrrrrrrr by bad :( Back to bed for me :) I don't know which car I was thinking of. Maybe the G8? lol *shrugs*

Well...most stock GTP's run 14.5-14.9 for the most part stock. '03's were slow. I know, because mine ran a 14.9 in cold weather with a intake and downpipe.

Sorry, I meant engine weight wise...that total distribution is WAY better in the new RWD Camaro's.

Yup, C&D and R&T tested both the RS and SS and said they would rather have the underpowered V6 on the track since it posted better numbers through the figure 8, skidpad, etc.
 


Yeah I read that about the rs maros also. Not a bad deal that is. I think ur about right nick. Somewhere around 14.5 to 15 flat
 
A v6-maro and a GXP is fairly close i would think. Extra gears in the RS would make up for weight. And he never said what YEAR VETTER. Pretty sure a GXP could beat a stock 85 Vette.
 
nice kill, the new camaro's are very flashy with big wheels and all but they don't resemble thier ancestors both physically or mechanically
