GXP vs. Challenger

I smash hemi challengers all day in my GXP even when it was stock. A v6 should be no problem.

I'd also like to add... It's no mildly modded L67/L32 pulling my GXP to this day. You start throwing cam and heads into the equation and I'd lose no doubt. A pulley drop, tune, headers GTP stands no chance. My car is no rocket by any means, but I've raced them multiple times (I'm in a grand prix car club) and the results speak for themselves.

I'll post the vids on YouTube and share the link here shortly... I'm talking 5.7's not scat packs or Srt's...

Tapp shift 8 speed if the Challenger driver looses its because he cant pick a gear to start in.

My money would be in the challenger.

All these 250WHP GXP guys...you're not beating a 300+WHP HEMI Challenger.

Stuff cracks me up. But I guess anything happens on the street.

Idk about everyone else, but I have proof. I'm not stock, and I'm pretty sure I make more than 250 whp at this point. Also, if they are 300 whp those numbers don't translate to the pavement...

GXP's make 250-260 to the tire, stock. Full bolt-ons without a larger manifold and you're going to be lucky to get to 300 to the tire.

Seen that.

Lmao wut? I know I don't be here often but these threads always make me come back Lmao

Guys I'm not trying to say my car is fast because it's not. I just know from experience vs a 13' R/T Hemi challenger I've won 2 out of 3 times. Call it what you want, but that's what happened. I did however lose to a 8 speed hemi charger that same night pretty consistently. He pulled me up top by 1/2 car right before the 1/4 mile mark everytime. Raced a 14' 6 speed auto Hemi charger and beat him everytime. That's all I got vs these cars.

lololololololol and everyone thought i was out of my.mind about the 8 speed cadillac cts with a 3.6........

aint dem 8 speeds a b1tch.....

This thread was about a V6 challenger to start with, but of course it always goes to be about something with a V8 or another car that isn't even in the same class.........

4 door V6 caddy with an 8 speed.

4 door v6 charger with an 8 speed same damn thing as a challenger.

4 door V8 GXP Pontiac.......

Hmmm who's picking on who?

Are you saying the V6 8 speed dodges are out of their league because they have less cylinder and less doors on the challenger?

LOL

I still say GXP vs. either the charger or challenger 8 speed models it will end up like above. Wont be able to catch the 8 speeds on the big end. From a dig up to a 100? Close race after that its all gearing.

GXP vs. either 6 speed versions Id pick the GXP.

I'm saying the V6 has less power and less torque, thus the advantage to the GXP. Sure it may have 8 gears but it still doesn't have as much power, it may stay in it's own power band better but it's still less than the GXP makes with this guys mods.

Again this is with the OP's question in hand, his modded GXP vs a stock V6 challenger.
