2006 GXP 5.3L V8 with intake and headers vs. stock 2015 Challenger 3.6L V6Basic question: which wins the race? Which is faster? 1/4 mile?
If the stock 3.6 challenger doesn't spin I think it's a high 14's car.
The GXP's biggest fault is being FWD so grip is going to be hard and they are somewhere around the 14.0-14.5 stock if you have grip and limited wheel spin with driver mod. You added a little horsepower with the headers so the top end is likely to be better and I'd just assume the GXP would win if you can get a decent launch.
Pick on a v8 instead
No one's being picked on. This isn't middle school, everyone involved are adults. New Challenger owner comes in barking that he's dusting everyone.
Gents - the cts 3.6 with an 8 speed did 0-60 in 6.0 and 1/4 in 14.6 @ 99. Gxp is 5.7 and 14.2 (stock) respectively. Assuming both from a dig and equal drivers the gxp has this against a challenger or cts 3.6.
I think we need to remember seat of pants is not an instrumented test![]()

Even if they are a few tenths slower, I would MUCH rather have a Challenger or CTS than a GXP (No offense Bloodypython171)
