GXP starting question

My uncle had a 2006 GXP a couple years back. I saw another one at an auction the other day and the one I bought did the same time. On a cold start, it sounds as if the starter sticks or something. Its very annoying. Has anyone else have this problem? Is it normal? Or is it a sign of a bad starter. Ot only does it on a cold start though

yeah no idea, if its little newer i know if you turn key it will seem as if it stayed on longer than the key turn. Ive never had this happen in mine though.
