gxp seat swap 97-03 question

quick question just picked up a set of gxp seats to swap in my 99 grand prix .the driver seat would not move for whatever reason so to get the last bolt we had to rock it until the track bent and broke off. my question is since it is a direct drop in could i just swap over the track from my gt or is there a wiring issue i will run into........also anybody have some tips to spruce up the suede
 


i suppose so. it seems to be a load of work. next time take a cordless drill battery with you and some jumper wires to power up the seat plug so you can move it
 
crap dont like the sound of a lot of work....yeah got them off of craiglist in philly and he said they would be pulled by the time we get there
 


just read that entire thread on club gp.i now feel comfortable wiring the heated seats sadly no info on if you can switch the tracks
 
some one here did a power to manual or the other way, but the tracks came off and got swapped to the other seat, its do able, your taking the seat bottom apart tho for sure.

Oh, I thought you were just talking in general, like you're at home or something. Different story if you're at the JY I guess. My bad.
 
got the passenger and rears in looked at the bottom of the driver and didnt feel like taking it on going to try next week.....pro tip its much easier to remove the front seats with the headrest off lol
 
in my car i raise the rear of the seat, un bolt it, then recline the seat back, then lift the back up, then pull up on the front. install the same way.
 
Would somebody mind taking measurements for me? I need to know the bolt pattern on the seats where the tracks bolt on, as well as how far the hooks are from the bolt holes on the tracks themselves.
