GXP Quarter Panel Vents

I don't really like the look of the vents. If I put regular quarter panels on the GXP, will that effect much? I know it states that they are actually functional, but really? How functional? Is it imperative that I have them if I have a GXP?

If it is imperative, do you think I could get away with swapping the quarter panels, but putting a ram air hood on (one with heat extractors)?

You might see if someone local with the same color car will trade you. There are many out there who would like to have those fenders.

I seriously down the fenders do much of anything but I don't know.

I thought they were all looks anyways...if you do it has to be custom as the GXP Fender is different than the the GP Fender of 04-08...gonna have to have it cut out and molded and repainted...

Really? I did not know that. I guess i'll have to pay closer attention next time I see a GXP and a GT in the same place....

just throw some LED's on the fender and a VTEC sticker.

The fender from a GXP & 04-08 will bolt on the car but you will need to MOD the GXP bumper to fit the fenders same with trying to add GXP fender to a 04+ GT plus get 04+ rocker panels..On 04-08 GT they are one piece & on the GXP they are two piece rocker panels..
