Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

gxp or gtp?

I had a 97 gtp and thought it was fast stock I bought an impala ss 5.3 and now I think the gtp was slow but gas mileage is really bad
especially since I disabled the Dod thank god its not my daily driver LOL:rolleyes:

with a good thourough tune GXP will net 25-28mpg hwy without DOD, most people havent gone to far into the 5.3 realm of things and the 3.8 is all they know. I had a GTP and there a **** ton of engine mods you can do. most any LS part will interchange. it all comes down to what youre wanting. and to the person who said our headers were 1000 bucks youre out of youre mind.

If you're looking for good MPG, the GXP isn't bad if you do a lot of highway driving, I get around 25-28 highway usually. However city mileage is ****ty. In my GTP I got much better mileage in the city, and 26-30 highway. My GXP however looks nicer than my GTP and sounds much cooler. But honestly after having the GXP for a while now, I don't really care about the difference in the interior, there's not that much. I like the GTP's hvac more than the digital one on the GXP, I have the same 6 disk stereo, but with XM that I don't use, and the seats just look cooler and are more of a bragging rights thing imo.

just test drove a 06 s/c gtp. 177km or 110 000miles. engine and trans felt strong. trans fluid looked clean and not smelly. no intake leaks. leather seating was very supportive. monsoon sound system was really good. clean inside, no so much exterior wise.

needs a windshield, brakes all around, all the tires need balancing and there is a water leak into the trunk. No visible signs of an accident. some normal paint scrapes. he will drop down to $6000g. Still thinking about it.
