Installed the gxp nav in a base Grand Prix
Unlocked at dealer but volume is low
My car doesn't have monsoon my question is if I buy the monsoon amp is the wiring there to plug the amp in ???
 


I don't think so, but it's possible. Look under the rear speaker deck. The monsoon harness runs from the radio back to the amp behind the seats and then out to the speakers. I don't think the speakers are the same either though. The rear monsoon speakers have 2 separate inputs each, there are 2 speakers in each door and then the center channel. I assume the base model has just 4 speakers wired normal.

Check for the harness behind the seats, under the rear speaker deck, but your best bet may be getting a small 100x4 amp instead.
