dang, nine months and no posts. well I still haven't been to the range to shoot any of my guns, but I did just order an Aero Precision AR-10. According to Aero Precision, it is an M5. There isn't anything really spectacular about the rifle, except the muzzle break.

I've been out of the loop for a long time as far as firearms and the related stuff go. I'm hoping that buying this rifle will rekindle my interest. The problem is that the optic I want is another 1100 dollars. I would like to put a Burris Eliminator on the top.

I was honestly quite impartial for the majority of my life. Until I went shooting for the first time. That peaked my interest. I started doing my own research. The statistics I learned turned me "pro" 2nd amendment. I'll spare you the details. I also began to appreciate the the little mechanical works of art that they are.
To each their own, but I would caution anyone about making a decision about firearms without first hand experience. I used to absolutely HATE coffee.
Until I tried it.
Hypothetically, the list could be very much out dated.
