• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

GUNS!!!!

it seems lots of people in california are trying to buy guns now that the government is releasing all those inmates.

damn.. purchased a scope, mount and mount rings for my new one. Mount wouldn't fit by about a hundreth. Talked to Earl at Earl's Walthers and he said to send the upper with mount and they would machine the mount and mount it free of charge same day they receive it. While not ideal, that's some good customer service.

I'd like to personally thank all those panic buyers for completely extinguishing the ammo supply and driving up the costs. Glad I'm mostly stocked up. Hopefully in a few months it will be back to normal.

Ive got connections so my ammo supply hasnt dried up. That being said I usually keep a few rounds on hand... (Protection requirements.)

Got my top piece with mount attached back today. Put baby back together and put the sight up onto the mount. Now I need a new case (won't fit into original with scope) and it'll be time to dial it in.

Did I mention that I filed the necessary notch into a 10 round mag from a different piece that fits and works on these at 1/3 of the price of the actual mag?

Retardedly restrictive.

If a manufacturer wants to sell a model in MA, they have to send something like 5 of the model plus $3000 to have it certified for sale in the state. Once the model is certified then you are allowed to buy it. There are some things you can buy as pre-ban or under the old enough clause. Say you move to MA, some stuff is illegal to bring into the state no matter how long you owned it before you moved here.

Here's an idea, the approved lists are in this link .

Got a case for baby that's adequately locked and storage compliant. Looks good in there too!

Yuck... That sucks pretty bad....

I guess at least here in Michigan they allow us to own pretty much what we want lol.

Open carry is nice too.

Went and got another one today...... Ive been on the fence about getting one for years.... Finally decided to get one.

Google Jerry Miculek. He has a couple videos where I saw an optional sight on the side.

His finger is banned in all 50 states. :th_winking: Git some!

My issued M4 just has the optic on a hinge, to use the irons in normal orientation as a back-up when needing accuracy for mid/long range shots. Shooting at a 45 angle is for very limited circumstances, such as avoiding obstacles in CQB (for which an iron sight is useless).

You do you, John Wick. Enjoy.

What I took from that was that your optics co-witness your iron sights?

Long story short, I got the 45* sights because #1. They were dumb cheap, like $20. #2. I wanna keep the red dot sighted in at a longer range(say like 150-200) and use the iron sights for close stuff(think like 50) #3. This gun was purpose bought to be nothing more than a toy. I have several hunting rifles already and I just wanted something cheap to shoot a lot. #4. Cause it looks bad ass....
