You took this long to build it what's a few more days to sit back, calm down, and find some solutions. Jesus we all want a built transmission eventually but it seems like your just wanting to throw more money on a "built " part.. You'll be getting another used transmission I'm guessing and you dk what problems that will hold.

And it's a Sunday... Most guys like to sit back and enjoy their weekend gpf free.. Give it a fee days and allow a fee more guys to give you some recommendations to look at. Your going to be upset if your were quick to jump to conclusions and spend money on this other trans only to discover it was something very simple to fix with yours. Plus your sure not going to be able to get much out of your current trans if there's a problem with it. It'll pretty much be a core to someone.

This is true but I need to give my grandfather the car back he needs it for his doctors appointments in the morning and it's going to mess with me getting to work so I do need to figure it out fast

This reminds me of when you bought that first cam... You were quick to buy it.. Didn't do your homework then got screwed at the end of it. Your buying a used built trans.. No telling what's wrong with it.. It's still going to take you some time to install it so your still going to need to find transportation for at least a few days and I would still drop it off and have someone look at it before I just throw it in the car and that's going to take someone a few days to look at it.

I'm not trying to tell you what to do with your money but I'm trying to get you to slow down and try to fix this issue first before you buy another trans

I'm looking for the problems but can't find it, I don't know what I can be I'm looking online now but i also took the chance using this transmission it might have had something inside it still that locked it up, I'm looking for fuses and relays may be that could have gone.

The issue just happened there's no possible way you've done enough research on here to lead you to buying another transmission. Once again... Calm down.. Walk away from it for a few. Get your thoughts together.. Then go find some possible solution. I feel like I've repeated this several times before but you can't throwing in excuses to justify you buying another trans.. "Well it's used so I knew there was a chance that it's messed up" the same can be said about this used built trans your wanting.. It's a repeating cycle.

OK so I can get the motor and transmission, my buddy wants it and said if I drive it to him he will pay for it all I have to do is buy it up front and he will let me have the transmission for free just need to pay for gas really, and I will get the pulley and the modified fuel rails off it and maybe the tog headers. Might make the trip after work if I can't find the problem. And with the old transmission I'll get it hopefully fixed by the guy who fixed it and just sell it or keep it for the fiero for a later build

got it my buddy is buying the motor I'm going to his place now to drop it off, I got a full exhaust back to looks like a 3in

Also talked to a few people and they are saying it's the sensor inside the transmission thats broke

A is there a way I can figure out what converter this is? If it's stock or not

we just learned this in another thread. the hd tranny in the gtp has a stock stall speed of 2000.

the non hd tranny for the n/a engines its 2500.

Hmm I might keep my new one if it's not broken, but it's good to know about this one I might just sell it with my the broken one after it gets fixed, I'm going to try and pull the motor and transmission tonight and get it up and running by tomorrow with the new transmission:)
