• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Gtx has a turbo!! lol

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Problem with having more than one is .. more cost, more time and more parts.

While the Camaro seems fun, I'd probably junk it like the guy before you was planning. Use the extra money you make to buy parts.

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Well my focus is on the grand prix, im going to keep the camaro because I don't really need to do much and im going to sell the Buick to buy the last parts for the grand prix

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Some rims we have sitting around fit the camaro ;)

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Might be the lack of drivetrain. Just tossing that idea out there.

Similar to you.. Uncle Free is my favorite Uncle.

Last night I traded a couple old beat up RC boats for an L67 with 7x,xxx miles. Truth is I have no paperwork saying what the motor is. However the guy said it was a 97 Bonneville motor with that mileage that he got for a buggy project from another guy. It has the right charger, alt and alt bracket (elbows point to front of motor), along with coil pack bracket and spacers etc.

Now.. go work on your projects before I keep posting in your thread. :th_mischievious:

Oh man thats awesome I would love a low mile motor, but yeah here is the gen v supercharger with 90,000 miles going to sell to make the extra money for my build will be good for headers

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Whatcha want for it shipped to 06082 Steve? Dirt and all. Cause I'd install it looking just like that on my car.

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Bill yep for some headers in good condition im willing to trade, but yeah so the kid emailed me the picture of the input shaft and it looks horrible would it be worth buying?

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

I'd be opening that up to take a closer look before buying it. Literally..I've seen transmissions in JY's for a year that never did that.

Re: started tear down of the 01 motor

Thats what I said I think it would be easier to just fix mine, he said it hasn't had any oil and that a scotch pad will get it off lol
