got a appointment on the 16th to get 20% tints on all windows, headlights, tail lights, foglights tinted, ad the car is getting completely detailed for $600. Gonna look sick. Ill post pics up when itt gets done
 


...how are you going to tint the headlights and make it legal? you wont be able to see anything.

i would leave the headlights and fog lights alone.
 
You should do the black housed headlights & corners, make it a little more legal :th_nervous:

it wont be legal... but should be able to see with it fine. the guy is going to use a certain mixture of paint to do it, and i think its gonna get progressively darker as it goes to the outside of the lens this way it still shines through fine. i know someone who got his done by the same guy, and hes not having any problems.
 
I'm super nervous for you bout those headlights but I will hold judgment until you post up pics. It should look wicked!

yea no worries. its not going to be THAT dark i dont think anyway... just a nice kind of smoked finish that gets darker towards the outsides. Probably gonna get some brighter bulbs as well just to be on the safe side.

HID's would probably shine through no problem

PIAA's are like $80 a set, kind of a waste for regular bulbs when you can get HID's for a little more. Who said zzp's kit is bad? I have their kit and no problems, the only thing is you want to purchase a rewire for the HID bulbs. ZZP's kit doesn't come with a re-wire/relay kit and of course re-wire your locking flash to your corner lights and disable your DRL's.

ok, and where could i get that extra stuff the kit doesnt come with?
 


sounds like its gonna look great! DEFINITELY post pics when its done. Im really curious how the fogs are gonna look tinted. I might have to look into that for mine when i get the windows tinted. Keep us posted man!
 


yea i know... really dont wanna wait the whole week :/. but oh well. after that gotta do brakes, the gonna flush my coolant, then do an intake, possibly pcm... then saving for headers and a zzp 3 inch catback. all in due time
 
yea ive been considering it... my brother has 20% on his stang and its not too bad... i still wanna b able to see well at night thats the thing, visibility wouldnt be too good if i went down any more then that. his is pretty dark so im not really too sure yet. plus here in new york, im deff gonna get harassed by the cops.
