GTP????

I'm gonna highjack my own post! Does anyone know anything about financing and being upside down??? I'm not trying to tell all my business, but I don't really care. It happens to people sometimes. I took out a small loan on my 97 GTP from Citi financia(High interest). I refinanced twice. My balance is around 15k. (payoff is cheaper). That is alot. I found a GTP I want SO BAD! (link at bottom) Will a carlot pay off my car and possibly tack on alittle more(after I talk em down) to the price of the New car? I never had alot of credit. Just the Citi Fin. and my mom put me as a user on 2 of her credit cards to up my credit score. My credit score is still kinda low. NEED HELP ME WANT NEW GTP

15k on a '97? Id say IF they do the deal you are going to be in major hole. I cant imagine what the payment would be.

Thats just going to be an enormous loan for a 2004 and Im not sure the bank would loan that much on a used car. I dont mean to be a kill joy, but I just dont think they would.

On another note, if you will notice, this car is a VIN code 4 as well and if you look closely you will see on the trunk lid on the passenger side, the small badge I mentioned earlier that reads 'GTP supercharged'.
 
Not to be an ass, but you need to take care of that 15k 1997 car before trying to get something else. At best you are 10k in the hole on that one. :confused: Just out of curiosity, could we have a little more info in how you got so far in debt on an 11 year old car? How much did you pay for it, when did you buy it, why did you refinance it, etc?
 
Well, I didn't have any credit. So I ought my car at a crap lot. Buy here pay way too much here. I got it in '05. I paid (brace yourself) $9,000. It had 130k mi. My payments were $500. every 2 weeks. YES, you read that right! Then I found out AFTER I paid it off(in no time) I found out it Never went on my credit report. They don't have to. I betcha if I was late that wouldve been on there! Anyway, A year or so later, I wanted to go to Vegas. I went to Citi Financial(not a bank) and borrowed $4,000. Well at their interest rate, I was paying back $8000. Then, I re-did the loan and got some extra cash. Made my balance even bigger.My payment is now 260. Money, is not a problem. It's getting a decent interest rate. I pay $2000 a month in car payments/insurance alone.(No credit cards and our house is paid in full) I figured instead of getting another pmt, I'd trade this one for that one. I won't get rid of any of my other cars!! I don't even need a car. I just saw it and want it. Thanks for the advice!!!
 
Well, It's gone. They sold it a while ago but auto trader never took it off the net. I needed it too! Atleast with a newer car I would have a good reason for no mods. Now I just don't have any excuse. Are headlight covers considered a mod?haha Oh well. I'm glad that everyone here knows I'm dumb and will pay anything for something I want. And that I can't stop buying cars. I need an Intervention;)

wow, lol, this isn't the only thread I've seen someone calling girls a guy. Maybe he was referring to the GTP brotherhood we all are apart of.

So you are a girl and spend $2000 a month on cars with no worries? Is there room for a 21 year old man in your life?

My husband went to the bar tonight. I thought we were gonna stay home with the kids tonight. He pissed me off so I told him I was going to find me a boyfriend. He said ok. It didn't seem to affect him like I'd hoped. So, I said, I'm getting on a Corvette website and finding me a Rich boyfriend. Guess that didn't work either. Oh well.
As for millionaire heiresses, Paris Hilton dates the Ugliest guys she can find!!! All them rich famous girls do.

Well except all the money. And, well the corvette. And then theres the me being married thing. And then theres the whole directionally challenged thing you got going on.

Other than that I think we'd be perfect.
