GTP vs Subaru



actualy u prob would. co worker of mine ran a s/c cobalt at the racetrack a couple weeks ago with a beatup 93 sentra ser with a fartcan and homemade intake and ran side by side with him at the 1/4.
 


More than enough...he was like 18...GTP must be Mommy's car and the Cobalt is his sister's and she went off to college and got a real car so they gave it to him
 
i could still outrun the dude in my impreza. no beef here, but i dont lie about my cars because i know better than that.

Pulled from about 70 to around 110 in a couple seconds with him a country mile behind. I then slowed back down to 67 and set cruise.

Damn. I missed out on the Subaru-calling-out. The STI is always willing to take contendors, especially Cobalts :rolleyes:. But now you have ~18PSI to deal with instead of the stock 14.7PSI.
 
I raced a subaru legacy GT also. Im pretty sure all the GT models are turbo, correct? I know this guy had the 2.5 turbo regardless. We were pretty even 10-60mph. I pulled about a hood length.

My mods: tuned pcm, ZZP downpipe and a FWI

yeah, its turbo. same as a WRX or STi. if he had a tune then he would have ran away from you. the difference from 14 pounds of boost to 18 pounds is a lot. it was stock.
