gtp vs srt-10 Ram (video)

Gtp running 3.1 pulley. Tuned by Ryan C. The night before.1 passenger.

Ram had intake, headers/ ran mid-high 12's

1st run lost by a length from 30-90 (no traction- traffic)

2nd run, pulled 1/2 length by the top of 2nd. 40-100

3rd run. Got destroyed from a dig. (spinning badly)

Pcm was still learning the tune, so my runs consistently got better.

4th run I put a full length on him going 40-100ish no video bc I was recording an Android and a call came through.

A ram with headers and an intake can rape a GTP on a 3.1? I honestly thought stock for stock that a GTP could beat, or at least come close to, an SRT-10... ****.

That guy had 305 tread width tires. Lol I think they run 12S STOCK

there is alot of weight difference though i used to own an srt-10 back in 05 i had the regular cab six speed manual version

Uhh, that is a giant line of crap.... your PCM doesnt "learn" anything wideopen related.

Correction since we are being technical. The Pcm wasn't learning, but the trans was learning the pcm. It's either that, or I have a tranny problem. But I doubt it.

I know he has a 3.1" pulley cause I even said it myself, but I managed to get confused reading that.

Your 3.1 setup is probably quicker than mine. The races were not that accurate for my mods IMO. I kept letting off after I started to catch him. The second race, I pulled past, and he let off after I got past (so I shut it down)

I never stayed on the gas longer that I had to because I lean out in high rpm's. I have an old crappy fuel pump, and I keep losing pressure.

He says he'll run again after I get a new pump. I will have the video up when it happens.

The guy told me he runs 12.7's- 8's the way it sat. off headers, & intake , (and probably some type of tune)
