Were there any mechanical differences between the GTP and the GTX? Or were they all just for show?
 


factory 17 inch GTX specific chrome rims, ram air hood package, GTX badging, 10hp increase to 250. Just a package pretty much.
 
Well, I don't really know if it would add any noticeable power like they claim it does, but the Ram Air hood may help it a little bit....I'm not totally sure what they did with the exhaust, I know it had SLP mufflers but did they go all the way and put SLP headers on it from the factory?
 
There's no difference other than cosmetic and yes they claimed the exhaust and ram air made a huge difference. If you went through my car and a stock gtp id be the same except appearances and exhaust
 


the ram air hood adds no horsepower.

if you were EXCESSIVELY LUCKY you got ahold of a stage 3 gtx that came with 1.8:1 roller rockers and a 3.5 pulley. the rest of everything is cosmetic and absolutely useless as far as performance goes.

Ram Air Intake System, Press-On 3.5", Mag. 1.80:1 Roller Rockers, Catback, and a PCM Tune.
