• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

GTP vs. Grand Am GT

3800 swaps on GA's are REALLY hard. They can be done, but it will BE your life if you attempt it. You car will be out of commission for WEEKS, no doubt. They don't like to play nice together, so getting it to run right will be a challenge.

Otherwise I vote snail. They have supercharger kits, but you'd still be pulling less than a stock GTP and you'd be paying about 3k for a new 3400 s/c kit.

How do you figure? Tuning and MAYBE some wiring. I've been throwing the idea around for some time now as i've been getting tired of my car and was looking into a GAGT shell to throw my motor in. The way I see it, it'll be roughly the same steps I took to put an L67 into my SE (which was down a whopping 3 days cause I was being lazy).

Tuning and Wiring exactly. A few people pull it off, but those two things are such a ***** with GAs that it typically ends up garbage.

On the other hand, if you can pull it off, then I'll give you a gold star (as I haven't much else to give :P).
