• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

GTP vs EVO VIII

It was an 05 with unknown mods but I know its tuned on 15 PSI making 300whp. Raced from about a 20 roll to just over 100, I was at his rear bumper. Very happy with how I did, hate myself for not getting it on video. He wants to race again though, I'll get that one recorded. Thoughts?

What are you even talking about? I felt it was more beneficiary to run more timing instead of pulley

Depends on the setup, may even differ car to car some. Look at it this way, you went from a rather inefficient setup =gen3+heat to a more efficient =genV+vanilla ice setup. Timing will give you some power, but when on a stock cam, you bought yourself some room to run more boost safely. You can run a leaner a/f with that intercooler, near 12's makes some good power but if you dont have a wideband I wouldn't get to lean happy. This also helps when running a 3.2" pulley or smaller on stock injectors, since they should be on the verge of maxing out (100k+ fuel systems vary). I would run a 3.2" on stock timing, lean out the afr a tad and then start bumping up timing. Should feel the difference on the butt-dyno, probably even at stock timing. Keep in mind the temperature and weather when tuning.
