GTP vs Charger RT -VIDEO-

man that thing must need a tune bad charger rt is mid to low 14s ur car should have walked it ur car must be knocking bad

Yea like I said a few posts up it was a bad vac leak. No knock. The vac leak fixed it from redlining too.

Only Charger that had a different motor was the base ones...which had a couple of V6's...and they had single outlet exhausts out back...and the SRT8...which didn't have the 5.7 HEMI, but the 6.1.

The R/T's, Daytona's, and some of the Super Bee's had the 5.7.

Base model Chargers had a 2.7L V6, SXT's had a high output 3.5L V6. R/T's, Daytona's, and some Super Bee's had the 5.7L V8, and SRT8's and some Super Bees had the 6.1L V8.

I couldn't imagine owning one of the V6's in a 2 ton car, I've got an R/T and that's just enough to pull that pig down the road.

I had a 2.7 as a rental...you could stall it up with the TC off...and it wouldn't spin the tires even if it was wet...it would just squat down in the back and accelerate at a 98 year ol' lady's pace.

Thats why full-size cars should have V8s, or in the case of a LeSabre, or Bonne, a 3800 V6, the only V6 that can truly do a V8s job.
