I think the problem was (on svtp anyway) that you had refused to concede that a stock ls1 fbody, should lose to a 11 5.0. I do admit though that people can be pretty think on svtp.

I try to act this way on other forums but people (especially on SVTP and LS1tech) just insist that it's BS and can't be open minded at all. Then that causes me to start throwing more fuel on the fire, then everything gets blown out of proportion lol. And it ends up being a 30 page ****-fest.

Granted a 3.73 geared manual with less parasitic loss probably would have walked me. But that wasn't the case on that particular night with the 3.15 geared power eating A6.
