Is there any other way to find a decent pair of tai lights for a 98 gtp other than eBay where I would be paying over $150 for a pair, I go to the junkyard and there aren't any gtps there only the gt's and the tail lights aren't the same
 


GT and GTP stock tail lights are identical. I have owned 2 GT's and numerous GTP's and switched out the tail lights due to water leakage, interior fading, etc.
I have never encountered a problem with the way the tail lights are fastened, nor with the 3 bulb connectors.
 


I have to get a new set of tail lights also, the cops around where I live are way too over eager to pull people over for the dumbest things! I even got arrested over the stupid smokes tail lights! I'm gonna try a salvage yard first and then go to ebay and places like that.

Arrested for a traffic "VIOLATION"? Lol, no way...

I'm not well versed on Ok laws, but usually a "Violation" or an infraction, (which are most traffic citations) is not an arrestable offense unless there's something to the story you're ommitting!
 
Yeah I have been loking as well, I have the Euro tail lights that a previous owner had put on, I do not like that look at all.
