shooting for 500+hp on a L26 is a horrible idea.... L26 rods suck.
sold the intercooler, blower , 8 rib pullies and stuff to a fiero owner, he should be picking it up this weekend... $950 what a steal. i kinda feel robbed. lol
Compression is the reason im not putting the blower back on ya - no point.

It's in the tune...always has been, always will be.
PCM tuning is pretty useless to 99.9% of the people that post on this forum..
PCM tuning is pretty useless to 99.9% of the people that post on this forum... You can pretty much run "base tune" stuff on a mechanically sound motor easier than trying to fix mechanical issues with tuning bandaids...
Which isn't the way to go about it...since mail order tunes aren't the best thing smokin'....I'd rather do it the right way the first time; I see where your coming from.

How so?
A tune simply should be correcting fueling and a few other odds and ends.
If the motor is setup properly you shouldn't need to fool around with the tune much at all to get it running well.
There are too many variables left unknown.
On the rods...
They are sintered powdered metal.
Not forged.
Also smallest of the four rods installed by GM in series II/III motors.
