im N/A but i dont have an 3.8, and ill probly never have one
i only know of a couple of guys on the forums that like there 3.1 and dont want to boost or swap in a 3.8..like me they just want to keep what they got and make it better,
 
Who wants to spend a bunch of money modding an NA car to run 14's?

Kinda like how I don't want to spend a bunch modding my GTP to run 12s. There are much better platforms. I'd build a honda NA before a GP. Gen 1 Chevy is where my hearts at. If I wanna go fast I'll do it in my truck with a 400 sbc and a 76mm turbo, and do it on the cheap too.

i had a n/a 3800 in my GT, i just got a GTP. i haz no regrets and i would never go back. jus sayin. i was in the same boat you are. i am a happy boosted camper :)
 
i have a gt. and you know what my answer for everyones question for n/a modding is?


topswap. i wouldnt waste the money buying crap that wont carry over to a topswap build. a topswap could be had for even less if you got a junkyard L67/32 and just pull parts. its just smarter
 


i just got my gtp. what kind of temper issues you have with yours? may have to prepare an ass whipping ahead of time for ole girl.
 
it would have an erratic idle for no reason one min then the next it goes away. replaced all vac. lines and cleaned tb and maf. still does it
 


From what ive seen , this motor turbod seems the way to go. but i mean i cant complain with over 260hp in a S/C 3800 :P
Shes good for me LOL.

GT turbo seems the best if u wanna race it.
but i plan on just doing more mods and keeping the S/C.

my bros got a GP GT that him and his Gf drive and hes got a 98 mustang GT. there both N/A.

i love my whine:)
 
if i was going to do turbo, i rather turbo a L67/32 because of the lower compression

i don't like the idea of a high compression turbo car at all
