GTP Noise....

I live on a gravel road with alot of pot holes and I got on the highway and got on it the other day and noticed a very loud whistling noise(no it was not the blower...:th_winking:) The whistling noise is louder than the S/C and is very high pitch...could this be an exaust leak of some sort? I'm really concerned about this...Opinions?:th_shakinghead2:
 


Ya it doesnt start till I hit higher rpm's...the more RPM's the louder it gets...its louder than even the blower...sounds like...alot of air being pushed out of a pipe with a hole in it??? haha....Maybe i'm just loosing my head. I just cant seem to think of what it could be. its loud and high pitch...
 
i would try the ac compressor, i had a similar problem an it seemed to be the compressor..it would scream soo loud i wouldnt be able to hear the supercharger. you should try taking your belts off, an spinning them individually with a steth o scope you should be able to figure which pulley is making that screaming noise. well hope it works out for ya.
 
my truck sounded a lot like a teapot once. turned out it was a gasket under the throttle body, $4 part. could be a vacuum problem of some sort. i'd check hoses and gaskets
