Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

gtp mods

im posting in here so i remember where its at haha def gotta change my water in floorboard soon especially seeings how its getting ready to snow

Read/Research.......guy. Figure out your goals with the car and what your budget is.

Best mod for you at this point.

I haven't done any mods to my '05 Comp G that I have planned. But, I have read a TON of stuff on these cars since I got it. I think the best thing to do, like some have said, is get a budget and then compare that to your goals. If they don't match, one of them has to change. Either the budget or your goals. I've also decided that supporting mods are probably the best way to go, even to the point of overkill, before you start dropping pulley sizes. That is, if you want something reliable, which I think we all do.

stock pulley cars can be very quick with the right set of mods and a tune, but they turn into frieght trains once you drop pulleys.

its really all in what you want out of the car. you can run 13s on a stock pulley with the right set of mods and tune behind it.

This is something I haven't seen results from. Is there somewhere on this site, or online, that has track times and mods lists from stock pulley cars. I would like to know what a car like mine could do with just headers, tune, CAI, etc.

There is a guy here that had slicks and headers and a couple other small things...and ran 13.6 @ 98 or 99...and I ran 13.8 back in '07 with just a set of PEMs/DP/EBay intake/1.84 rockers...and street tires...trapped 99-100.

That's awesome. Something I wouldn't mind looking into. I could probably swing a tune and headers. I'm not comfortable going down in pulley sizes on a DD without spending way more than I currently have. The stock CAT is dying and headers would be easier to pass by the wifey compared to an OEM Car replacement. hehe.

you flip the bushing in the dog bone. the easiest way to do this is to get soapy water and lube the bushing on the frame side. with the Y removed reinsert the bolt and tighten. once tight keep turning and you should be able to have the bushing twist 90* if it is old it might tear... so be warned.
