GTP Knocking Sound. Any Ideas?

Cant figure out this knocking noise. I have a 2002 gtp. I have ssac headers, 3 inch downpipe, no cat, no res, stock mufflers, 180* tstat, k&n cai, zzp stage 1 throttle body, dhp 1.0 pcm, 3.4" pulley, fuel pump re wire, alt re wire. I have a knocking noise from 2500 rpms to about 3500 to 4000 rpms. it doesnt do it after 4000 rpms and it doesnt do it before 2500 rpms. it doesnt do it in drive that i can notice. i think its coming from the front of the car but i cant figure out what it is. any ideas on what it is or any suggestions how to fix it? please help
 


could it be the headers ticking. cause it sounds like that. ive read that ssac headers tick because of the flex pipe in the down pipe. its single wall instead of double wall so it leaks and ticks. thats what i was told. is this a possibility?
 
pop the dust sheild off by st starter and grab the flywheel and move it back and forth. if it kinda clicks its broken, and thats your noise. also use a big screwdriver or pry bar and rotate the motor with the flex plate. keep checking while doing this
 


it is your coupler inside of your nosecone. they go bad on every GTP after about 50,000 to 100,000 miles. mine is bad too. looking to buy one. but they are hard to find. you can order one online of from a dealership. $20-40.
