yeah, but i see it as something good to invest in. better than doing drugs or any of that stupid stuff. my car means alot to me. im pretty obsessed with it, but im sure that will change once more starts mattering in my life. just figure i might as well do as much as i can with it. ive always loved cars, and now that i have a car thats actually worth doing stuff to i feel like i should do it
 
and you know what, thats really good man. its a postive and healthy hobby. and if it keeps you away from doing drugs or other stupid things then by all means mod away :D
 
yeah, i really dont have anything better to invest in. and i dont do drugs and alcohol... not for me. my life pretty much is cars, girls, surfing, and fishing
 
Your life will have emergencies, student loans, and so much more! Put some aside in each paycheck and use some. I have a set limit. 2/10 of my paycheck goes to my car, gas included. If I drive slow and save gas, I save more money, and I can reward myself with a modification. The rest goes to bills, rent, food, etc... Anything left over after that goes into savings!
 
I'm currently on my reward system for some ZZP headers and hopefully they will be coming soon. I bought HPTuners instead of headers last time.
 


yeah, im really hoping to get the HPTuners for xmas... i really want that badly, wanna learn how to tune in the worst way so i can get my car at its prime
 
yeah, im a little concerned about that, but more concerned about power. but i have heard when u tune it, it usually gets both better anyway! cant wait i really hope i get it. on modern cars tuning really is the key to making power the right way

2) Remain humble about your car; you have to remember that any new Accord can smoke you right now. Save some loot, read all you can on forums like this, and you can throw some work into your car to have it really competing in no time.

Just because a girl smiles at a guy at a stop light dosen't mean shes a whore with multiple STD's. Sounds like a few people are trying to bring you down. I say go for the girl and see whats up. You never know, she might be a keeper. In my own opinion, 3 out of 5 girls are dirty whores anyway. But, she might be a good girl. (How many girls were in the car?haha)
Let us know!!!! Oh yeah, chew some Big Red before you talk to her. She'll smell it. And thats a good thing.

When I was in school there weren't too many performance cars. I had my Talon and it was up there. There was a V6 Firebird, Celica GTS, IROC, couple B16's, V6 Stangs and some other crappy DSMs. A GTP would've been above anything. No true F-Bodies, Cobras, or even Mustang GTs, or anything like that....I don't even recall a Fox-body and they're everywhere.

We didnt have the likes of any WS6 trans ams, that was a little after my time. Our high school had 80's cars and some late 70s. I had an 87 442, my buddies had an 87 IROC, 85 v8 trans am, 87 Monte ss, 78 Camaro RS, 85 formula, and one guy had a 72 bracuda I think. Anyway we all thought we had the fastest cars. Those were the days. No reckless driving/take your car tickets, back country roads, town only had one patrol car. I smoked the tires at a stop light so bad you couldnt see the patrol car behind me and received an "unsafe start" ticket. another time I took a corner sideways, spun around 2 or 3 times smoking tires and fish tailed away. trooper was hiding on a side road watching the whole stunt. I received an improper turn ticket ha ha. Now these days they would toss your but in jail and take your car for that.
 
Most of the rides at my school were big jacked up trucks. Came from a redneck town. There were a few fox bodies and then there was my Chevelle. Built for all the rustangs around there. Wasn't the fastest car in town, but no one at school could touch me.
 
i can safely say i have the fastest car at school..but since i dont ever set foot in there it really doesnt matter (taking state-paid college classes for college and highschool credit during senior year ftw! i will enjoy my free 32 credit hours..)
 
In my HS me and my friends had all the rides. 79 TA 6.6(me), 70 chevelle, one garguanuiat truck, a lowered 72 short wide chev with a 454, and a couple of rice rockets.
but we never got laid b/c of our rides! if you ever want to get close to a girl you HAVE to talk to her. that was the point in cruising, at least thats what I thought.
