GPF is a wealth of knowledge. just remember the search at the top is your best friend and first step toward an answer when you have a question.

okay i purchased a 1999 GTP yesterday , it seems to have a problem starting , maybe the stater is going out but the car does start just not on the first ignition, ill post some pictures of it as soon as possible .

to be honest im not sure whats wrong or the crank speed , i know that the head gaskets were replaced / and the battery , im cure it could be a number of things either starter , battery connection ... but i dont know the crank speed or if it is the fps

okay ill check it , is FPR short for a name or is it actually called FPR sorry im not good with cars but thats going to be changing because im willing to learn

fuel pressure regulator

Could just be a dying battery too.

Try this first:
try putting the key and turning it to on leave it for 5 seconds, turn it off, back on, leave it for 5 seconds then try starting.

If it starts quicker then you have a fuel issue

thanks so much matt , ill let you know what happens , ill also post pictures , im going to get ready for work now and ill let ya know what happens :th_thumbsup-wink:
