gt to gtp swap with issues!! help

Hey guys i have a friend who did a trans and engine swat from a GTP to GT got the car started runing but now the issue is with the coolant temperature is jot registering in the custer gauge, the sensor for temp is new, any input? Or any of you had this issue after swap?any help will be appreciated .. Thanks
 


Have a check engine light on? hopefully you havent made the same mistake as me when i did my swap. i plugged my a/c pressure switch connector into my ect sensor.
 
^^^ due to the location of both..that's kinda tough to do. LOL

OP. Give us some info. years of the two combined cars. PCM that was used etc etc.
