GS and FNV

Other night rolling home at a decent pace and a Regal GS passes me. Surely they wanted to race. Caught up and they were willing to run. Having mods and the same car, there wasn't much of a contest. Hopping off the highway they pulled up next to me at the off ramp, 40's woman and it looked like her mom. Both stared at the white Regal as if it was an alien craft.

This morning sees two stangs heading down the highway. Not playing not racing. One a newer stang, other is an 80's fox notch vert. Too much traffic to be playing around. They weaved their way through and ten miles down the road I see the vert by himself. Being the nice guy I rev a touch next to him. He starts on it and I do as any FWD 3800 owner would and stuff it to the floor. Soupydoupycharger kicked to life, likely I got the jump as well. Pulled him lightly for a couple of moments. We both backed it off.

Not wins or losses..just some springtime fun.

funny i had a mustang convert, race up and rev and try to race but im like there a million cars here. what does he do? cuts me off almost hits me turns left and parks it. why did he feel the need to almost cause an accident. i know i whipped it hard cause my g rating went up

Get a 1997-1998 BMW 540i. With a 3,500 dollar vortech supercharger kit you can make 400 wheel horsepower with no intercooler at 8psi. Also electronically you can upgrade everything to what the newer BMWs have like navigation back up cam, etc.

Think E wants to sell his after he does all the work? I'll buy as long as it doesn't tick
Maybe, he drove my car and spent hi money on mods. Got 3.11 gears 2.76 stock. And got a performance tune good for an extra 20hp and 40 tq.
If i still beat him after that gets installed he might sell it.

Matt...I've always been convinced.

Started driving a 75 Chevy pickup with cammed 350 and low rear gears
Moved onto a 85 Ford EXP for fuel ecomony, was still fun and it would spank 2.3 stangs
Had an 82 RX7 float through, amazing power and fun for 70 cubic inches of rotory bliss
91 Grand Am (2.5L Iron Duke) seriously one of the best cars I've owned. I sold it with 200K on the clock and almost all original parts.
Put together a 79 fox notch with an 85 HO motor and auto for $1000 which was fun to beat for a summer
Rolled into a 90 GMC pickup with 5.7 which became
a 97 pick up with 5.7
Which then became the current 2000 pickup with 5.3
Found a 95 B'ville SSEi and that morphed into
the 97 Bville
I'vd had a whole pile of Regals and currently still own the 2000 Regal

I've had my share of rwd and there's just something about it. If you are a driver..you'll always enjoy the fun of rwd.

And a 4L30E will last until about the end of the street at 400 HP.

Good thing the M5 transmission swaps right in. I don't know what you are talking about with a 4L30E, but BMW never used a gm trans for the E39 540i. It used either a Getrag six-speed manual or a new five-speed A5S 560Z automatic transmission with adaptive transmission control (steptronic). My buddy has had about 3 supercharged 540s with factory 6 speed manuals at the shop for random gaskets that needed to be changed, but never transmission issues. So no idea what you are talking about.

How many times did you rebuild that trans again, Bill??? I forget lol

Very nice to see you playing with the unsuspecting kids. Big Jerk bahahaha
