Grinding sound after installing HAI?

Recently installed a HAI on my 01 gtp and between idle and 2,000 rpm's the engine is making a light grinding noise. It doesnt sound terrible, but it doesnt sound right. At first I chalked it up to standard engine noise that i couldnt hear with the factory airbox. It seems to fade a little after 5-10 mins of driving. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal, or do I need to start trying to diagnose a possible issue? I can post a video tomorrow if the snow lets up.
 


I just bought the car from a family member that babied it its whole life. 97k miles. It does have an airflow kind of sound to it but ive never quite heard something like this. maybe a video would help?
 
Meh, videos don't capture everything. When it's cold it's going to have a sound to it, as long as it goes away when it warms up, you should be alright.
