Grills

I can tell ya now, for the cost of the extra coating, you can buy your own clearcoat lacquor* for like $7 bucks at O Rielly's or Autozone and save the cash for other things.

What color is your car Great_1?

White. I wasn't figuring on getting the clear coating just trying to gauge what the polished vs polish + clear would look like since they say the clear detracts from the finish a bit. Damn decision between glossy black and polished though :th_scratchhead:

Are your's the polished, or polished + clear models. I am trying to decide between polished and Glossy Black powdercoat

Mine are actually just 'satin' I bought them a long time back when Fig grills were just now hitting the market, and polished, coated, and such was'nt available at that time.

Also, I know it sounds kind of sounds like a cheap way to rig something up, but on the bottom set of grills use these.

You can find them at Wal-Mart, or some office place.
Pretty much wherever you go will probably have them. They're called binder clips, or office clamps. Some people call them different things.

Trust me, I, and quite a few others with these grills, and even the more expensive SS grills use this setup. Zip tie the upper ones on, clamp the bottom ones.

got bored and had some silver chromed paint haha i think it looks good needs a coat of clear and to finish it =]

I'd just go with an overlay sticker for the arrowhead badge. (got mine from pfyc.com)

That's what I'd be doing. They hell with removing it make it look good with an overlay.

I ordered 2 sets of grills one gloss black and one polished. I'll take some pictures and post up as I'm still trying to figure out which one to keep.
