hello all..... just a fresh grand prix owner here...bought a 1998 gt 2 door.......needs uim and lim gaskets.
also lost 4th gear.

thanks.....this one that i picked up totally filled the cylinders with coolant thats how i picked the car up cheap kid thought the engine was locked up.
 
Haha gotta love dumb kids on craigslist! But as far as your trans, junk it and get a 4T80e out of a caddy and have your pcm tuned for it, should bolt right up and way better trans than the 4t60 and 4T65 that comes stock in GPs
