• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Hello all, my name is Anthony, i will try to keep it brief. Ive gotten a lot of help from this forum over the months but I was having difficulty joining because they kept telling me I had the wrong answer for the random question. Finally I'm in.

04 GT2, orange.

Previous owner was an idiot dope boy in Chicago who spent lots of money screwing up the computer and fuse box with aftermarket Electronics while skimping on maintenance.

Im about 20k in on this thing. It has sentimental value, my, old man had a '77 GP.

I will have several threads about my specific experiences with this car. In short, its been,a nightmare. Ive done all 4 struts, and one was a ***** to get off. rotors and brakes and 3 out of 4 calipers. (that last one, driver rear, i replaced the sliders because the thing was rusted on.) new water pump, alternator, starter, fuel rail, it has the motor from an 08 in it and a new flex plate, im probably forgetting a lot, ive basically just thrown money at it :/

im treating this thing like a learning experience because the frame is rusty. Eventually i will find a nice, clean GTP or GXP and retain the rims and radio and body kit and what have you.

So she is more or less a workhorse.

Passenger side power window switch shorts the radio. Corresponding switch on driver side makes the DIC say "charging system failure."

One high beam inexplicably doesnt work. Ive spent lots restoring the computer to stock but it needs the fuse box looked at because again, there was significant tampering by previous owner. Im getting her in to an electrical shop soon,

I look forward to interacting with you all and am grateful in advance for help

Well I just made a run at fixing my heated seats, so far no luck, I made a post hopefully it was in the right section. The next thing I'm going to try to do on this is get my Universal cat welded in
