I can help judge the show, my car looks like crap so I won't win anyway lol.

A big GM Meet would easily pull 750 or more cars.... We should try to keep it almost all GP or atleast W-body or Pontiac in my opinion.

An all GM meet already occurs in several spots around the country. GM Nationals being one of them...so all GM already happens, this needs to stay all Grand prix and a few other pontiacs and other cars.

I think I'll do 20 trophies and other awards would be Furthest distance, Holy **** you DROVE HERE IN THAT (bald tires, bumper hanging off kind of deal), Girliest GP, Ricer, etc.

Show would be held somewhere with a large enough parking area, like a park or the strip.
 
Where did this 11 page thread appear from?? anyways 2800km and 26 hours away eh? would need a co-pilot so we can drive the full 26 in one shot. tho i'm sure i could cut it down to 22-23 hours the speeds i like. 2-3 days travel....

i could see myself rollin down there. guess i should start saving
 
Gateway International should have a decent size parking lot for a show...think we could just use it :nervous:...its probably fenced off.
 


The dragstrip should be contacted ASAP so we can try to rent that weekend out if we are going to do the racing and show there.
 
That's a great idea Brian. Instead of trying to fight everyone else to get runs in we could rent the track so it's just our group there.
 
Well I'm on their website trying to decide if they are open or not...seems like they've had a lot of trouble.

Once we are definite on this, then contact should be made. Renting out the day will be too expensive though I think unfortunately.
 
Branson was 50 or 75 bucks a person...covered the entire weekend for the most part. Just a heads up there. We got to rent out Ozark International for 4 hours? I think it was a few hundred bucks.

Once this becomes a thing, i can try and round up SW Ontario folks, get a good Canadian showing.

Sorry Dave, i still do not like the idea of calling it Prixus.. it just seems off.
