thatd be sweet! i saw a purple GTX or maybe it was just a anniversary edition with gtx badges.... losers haha
 
the first GTX's were only red,blue,white, and black. they may have done other colors later, ive never seen any other official GTX in any other color

yeah they do man! lol and yeah i wish i had the gen 1 or 2 spoiler and the f1 hood id be rockin in apperance looks haha not that i dont know cuz hay its a GP =]
 
Grand Prix GTX by SLP for color options , red,white, and black

you can put the GTX stuff on any GP such as badging, exhaust, ram air hood and box ect. when you get the badges though they are metal and not plastic, also there are 3 of them - 2 on the doors and 1 on the rear bumper under the deck lid.

also there were stickers under the hood and inside the trunk for GTX package info, also an insert in the owners book
 
The GTX is what ever grand prix was sent to slp. It could have been any color and could been either a GT or GTP.

Options ranged from appearance package only to some coming with smaller pulleys and rockers and exhaust.
 
I have a 98 GTP GTX and Daytona Pace Car package car. I bought it from the original owner who bought it new. It had paperwork that it was send to SLP for the GTX conversion. He told me that any GP could have gone to SLP for the GTX package, not just red black or white. But SLP sold some cars to dealers already done in only red, black, or white, or so I have been told.
 


my buddy has a bronzemist GTX from SLP and its only a basemodel GT.
All the did was add the spoiler, hood, badges, and the exhaust.
Its beautiful though.
 
anyone know where i could find one of those hoods cheaper than $600? :th_scratchhead: does anyone here happen to have a used one near me? and it is the same as the ascd dual scoop hood isnt it?

Like Joe said..........I would not hold your breath waiting on that one. It will never happen. SLP discontinued making the Hood and only aftermarket ones exists. And most of them run at least $575+ without painting. And anyone selling a mint condition authentic SLP hood is gonna ask for near full price.
