grand prix gtp intake leak/ x-mas lights across dash nightmare!

I'm fishin for some input on this common 3.8 leaking intake/ pontiac issue..lets see..where to start..
it all started with a catalyst code a couple years back, and my darling wife like most chose to ignore the problem so long as the wheels rolled under its own power..then this is when the gtp decides to side with me..so then we get bombarded with multiple warning indicators abs,TC,SS,steering etc, so I was google bound...did frnt hubs, and nothing, then brakes, nothing, then it started running rough and seems like the accellerator pedal gets harder to push, i did the intake, nothing, now it's shifting sluggish, I checked a few other things, egr,vac and fuel, batt,.....as if this wasn't enough, we also have an 01 firebird....guess what it's doin?
well any suggestions?
 


K the saga continues, egr checked out awhile back but earlier someone suggested that I try running it without it plugged in, and WOW..it was real close to running like it used to, but it was still shifting sluggish, then after awhile naturally the engine light is back, scanner showed three codes all related to the egr.pugged it back in, light goes out, no more codes, but runs like crap again!
