Grand Prix Gauge Cluster

My gauge cluster stopped working so I took it out. I didn't pull outthe plugs because they were tough so I just snipped the wires thinking I'd just resoder them on when I got the new one. Well now I notice there is three dark green wires, two black wires, two pink wires and two white wires. I need to know which goes with which but after spending quite a while looking online I cannot find any wiring diagram for the instrument cluster. Anyone have one? I have an 02 GT

A tough connector is much easier than fixing what you did. You need the schematic and some time with a multimeter, a soldering iron and some heat shrink.

This isn't going to help you much, however it'll get your post back up to the top and someone with the schematic will hopefully post it up for you soon.

Here's pictures of the harness

No longer have the clip because they were snipped too close and there is still multiple wires with same color

Ok Matt... If your new cluster didn't come with long enough connectors either, then you need a trip the junkyard.

Find your year car and pull the cluster the correct way. Get some extra length and cut the connectors off. That way you can connect to your car.

Next up, hopefully someone tosses the schematic in here or you can hit up your local library for them. Typically they are avaiable. Don't ask me, I've heard they are..never gone looking myself though.

Then pull out your multimeter or buy one, cause you need one to fix this mess. Also pull out the soldering gun, solder and heat shrink.

Any questions on how to use any of these things so far? Ask and ask detailed questions. Cause we are here to help out. But you are the guy that made the mistake (already posted about it) and now.. I'm aware. So now it's gonna get fixed.

I'm well aware of how to do all that and reconnect it. After spending an hour on eBay sifting through gauge cluster auctions and messaging people I found one with long enough wires that would fit my car. So i have the cluster now I just need the schematic. I'll look in my local library and come back if i cannot find one
