im am sure my grand prix came stock with keyless entry system but did not come with a remote when i got it but ive got a 2001 accord remote,is there any way to make it work with my gp?
 


Look at your rpo codes for auo that's keyless without Alarm. Mine didn't have one but got a cheapy off eBay
 
I think you have to have the same code on the new fob as what your car takes. The dealer might be able to tell you the code.
 
Yes you do there is certain codes for certain fobs. Just because it looks right that number may be different
 
so are we 100% sure it has a alarm and do i call them and give them the vin a tell them i need my keyless entry remote code
 


Try calling a GM Dealer, I'm sure they would be able to tell you if it has an alarm or not and give you the fob code.
