grand prix electrical problems

i have a 1999 GTP with 176K miles on it and im having a problem here it is:

when i have my HVAC blower motor fuse in i can use my HVAC but when i turn the car off the seat belt like and the low oil pressure light stay on and the car will chime for hours days even until i turn the car on or pull the blower motor fuse if the fuse is out everything is fine but i cant use my HVAC im completely stumped any help would be appreciated thank you

id check the ground on the bell housing for starters.
 
if your standing at the bumper look at the bolts that hold the trans to the engine, facing the rad and above the starter you'll see the bolt with a stud on it. i think you have 3 wires there, ( the fat one comes from the battery neg cable) one cold be damages or loose.
 
alright i will look tomorrow its 1am here lol its probably lose like you said that makes a lot of sense
 
the ground wires have eye loops at the ends, make sure the wires are free of damage, and the eyes are still tight on the wires.

if you find missing insulation or cracks in the insulation cut the wires back till you hit shinny copper wire, solder a new eye loop on.

you can also sand the eye loops and the trans bolt where the stud bottom is if its all dirty or corroded.
 


ok i am very capable of doing this but the trans is under warranty and this is part of the trans installation process so do you think if this is the problem the trans shop should fix it?
 
there was another guy who had this same problem after a trans swap at the dealership, they had the balls to charge him and told the guy to pound salt.
