Grand Prix DIC Tire Pressure

I purchased a new DIC unit for my 2002 Grand Prix GT. However this one has a tire pressure light on it. The auction lists it as functional with 98-03 taken from a GT but I've never seen this before on newer DICs, I thought it was only on the 97. Will it be functional and tell me when my tire pressure is low?
 


It has a traction control button and everything. Looks exactly like the 98-03 one theres just an extra space above Low Trac that says Low Tire Pressure
 
97 was the only year they had tire pressure but they still had it on the dic but was blacked out.
