GRAFIX's 2000 Mustang GT

GRAFIX

New member
So I sold my 02' Grand Prix and bought a 2000 Mustang GT. I bought it off of the original owner who was planning on building it for drag racing. It has countless mods like full catback, throttle body, fresh air kit, springs, shocks, cobra brakes, battery relocated to trunk, 3.73 gears, rear control arms, subframe connectors, mach 1 grille delete/chin spoiler, saleen spoiler, Cervini's Cobra R Hood, smoked projector headlights, 93 octane race tune (performance chip), etc.

I haven't had the chance to do a full detail yet but here are some pics I just took from my phone.

Sad you got rid of the Prix, probably one of the cleanest black ones out there.

Nice pick up though, I'd de-wing it...so much cleaner...maybe a black inlay for the back bumper and some wheels for sure. I've never been a fan of those base GT 99-04 wheels...they always just screamed: FORD CHEAPED OUT ON MEEEE.

In need for cobra or bullit rims. I'd love a mustang, but so much more expensive than a GTP and harder to maintenance.

No JD, not really.

Mustang platform anything albeit new ones and Termi/GT500's are super cheap to mod and go fast. Pretty bulletproof too for the most part if you aren't a child about it.

Which is why my right foot breaks everything :)

tisk tisk tisk. maybe i've had a misconception then lol. But i'd feel like a typical mustang owner lol, but then again, who gives a crap lol.

So TC, what's your plans for this bad boy?

Yah I want to get some nice rims. I'd love to get some Roush ones but I'm looking at the Cobra ones too. I have black rear inlay already in the mail. I also have a short antenna (8in) in the mail too that should style it up a bit. I'll have the windows tinted when it gets a little bit warmer here.

I've honestly never been a fan of the pony in the grille...so that'd be my first thing to go...that and tint it.

I'd also find a white V6 bumper and dump the catback.

Be cool like 4th gen FBody guys.

Was about to say tint the tails ever so slightly, but the stock ones look just fine on that car. Unless you want it to match your black inlays. That looks like an aftermarket hood?

Thanks for the compliment! In fact, that's the same thing the guy said that bought it. He was stunned and actually bought the car on the spot with cash in his hand.

Herp derp i cant read. I feel like the interior on the 99-04 mustang are so meh compared to a GTP. that steering wheel is so small with no grip.

Comparing a wbody interior to a 99-04 mustang interior is like comparing two Toyota Corolla LE's.

You're still wondering why.

Well im just saying the dash and all that looks very bland. Not saying it's not clean. Maybe because I've never been in one, just seen them from pics and looking through windows and such. Until I get my ass handed by one of these, or hear one with after market exhaust, I'll stick with a GTP :) I'm still envious Grafix, super clean ride. This auto or manual?

I'll make an exhaust video! It's really loud and has a sick rumble to it. The 93 octane race tune really wakens it up.
