06 50000 miles feels like its on the left side you feel it in the steering so who knows but has anyone replaced that intermediate steering shaft themselfs just wondered how big a pain it is since that sounds like the problem just wondered what else to look for before I go spend 145 bucks on the shaft thanks for any ideas

there is actually a write up on it.

It is VERY simple. the hardest part is going through the drivers front wheel well to get the bolt on the rack and pinion. other than that it slides right out!

also be sure to keep your steering wheel somewhat straight..as your wires inside can get twisted if it keeps spinning around. after the shaft is out.

Thanks I just got the car for my wife but I'm driven it more then her lol best thing I ever bought love this car I don't even care that it needs a little tlc I've been told to check the strut mounts but they look fine car don't have that many miles on it wouldn't think they'd be bad but I guess yo never know does the shaft slide out the bottom or the top threw the inside of car is there a bolt inside car to or does it just slide on a shaft under the dash thanks for the info n anymore u can give me
