GP-GXP vs G8-GT

I raced a red G8 GT 6.0L at the track and beat him to the line last weekend, but I red-lighted and I had a lousy 60-ft time. SO I am doing some bench-racing today where I take my aggregate best numbers from my 4 total passes and match them up with the G8 GT actual pass last week.

Give the guy a break. Not everybody can walk s197 mustang GTs buy 6+ cars, and run 12's with 900 dollars worth of mods like yourself.

Something must have been up with the G8 though...I've seen one with just a intake run mid 13's.

It didn't cost me $900, but I have another street legal car that did 11.50@127mph on its last outing. Thanks for the break though. Much appreciated!

Ok Ok I'll come clean. The driver had his girlfriend in the passenger seat and then he showed me the two 10" subwoofer box and a fullsized spare tire in the trunk after the race. I see it as a real-world type scenario though. I'm usually by myself in the GXP and the G8's usually have passengers out there on the roads when I come across them.

Um, I wasn't referring to you when I said 900 bucks. I thought I was complementing you on your runs? I was talking to Verz, why the hell would you assume I was talking about you? You didn't even come close to getting out of the 14's, and you never will with those 60's. Please share some info/pics on your high 11 sec street car.

Yes, I understood you were talking to him. It just so happens I have an 11-sec car so I tried to tie it in with what you said. I can't match the $900 in mods though. I looked back at my post after seeing your tone, and I can see how it can be read as smart-azz. I was just being sincere though.
