Judging by your op, your getting just the bags for all 4 wheels. You'll need a proper management system to use them, which included, tanks, lines, compressors etc etc.
I never said that you NEED to use that E-Level Management kit from bag riders. But it's one of the best, which are hassle free. and instead of "piecing" it together, and missing key components, you have it all.

Bag riders put together other "cheaper" management packs, which have everything your going to need to be functional, but, due to pricing, you loose some features. What it comes down to, is how well you want your system to preform. Trust me, you buy a good Accu-Air management system, and if you ever decide to sell out. You can EASILY sell it afterwards to somebody else. Their type of stuff is "universal" so to speak. Personally if i was to buy somebody's used Air management system. I wouldn't even look at cheap, halfassed pieced together setups. sure they probably work good, but i like it to look as good as it preforms.

Your call OP, i just know if i had the opportunity to have bags (on any car) I'd put a good management system behind them. Just my 2cents
 
manual paddles, or even presets for different pressures front to back, are going to SUCK in comparison to a level kit which will even out the front/back based on the height of the vehicle adding/subtracting air ass necessary. it's really the only way to go with the management stuff. seriously.
 


Ya i understand what you are saying about quality and stuff and i know your trying to help, but piecing together is so much more economical for me.. i cant justify spending 2k on basically just the compressor,tank,lines,valves, switches, and gauges...ya know(even though its prob the best route i should go lol)Ya it might be the best setup, but im looking to do this as a budget bag setup... thats why im jumping on these bags at this price. If they were not priced so well i would even think about doing bags bc they are so expensive lol i would be going with coilovers.

And no its not just for the bags.. it comes with a 3 gallon tank, like 100'of 1/2" line, and valves as well, so all i will really need is the compressor, gauges, and switches really.. minus a few misc stuff here and there
 
this stuff is pretty outdated. I got sick of having 1/2" line really quick because it goes up wayyyyy too fast and looks dumb. The 1/2" line is also a huge pain to run, I was amazed when I ordered 3/8" line at how much more flexible it was. Then on top of that i got a slow down valve in line from the air tank to get it to be nice and controlled on the way up and so that I could get pretty precise with my psi settings. And if this set doesn't come with the valve box, the new stuff doesn't use 1/2" fittings anymore.

I didn't have e-level and everyone on here is definitely right about it being the best option and I would have loved to have it. That being said though, I had a sort of manual setup with digital gauges and it didn't really suck. I just had to raise the car up to a certain psi to drive and if I had passengers or something, I learned pretty fast how to compensate. So I think you could save yourself some money and get one of the kits with the digital controller and digital gauge and that would be fine. I would strongly recommend upgrading the management to at least something newer even if it isnt the e-level if you haven't messed with this stuff before. I liked my setup but when I first messed with it, it was a lot to try and take in not having had airbags before. The new kits are much simpler.

Another concern I have is the struts themselves. This stuff has been discontinued for a while and those could easily be at least from early 2000's and if they've never been used, how can you tell the bags are in good shape and the seals are not dry rotted? I don't know how likely it is for the bag itself to be bad, but where the bag slips over the strut, theres a rubber o-ring on the inside that could be gone and then the bag wont hold air.

I still think its a good price, but I would keep in mind that you're going to more than likely have to replace some things, the 1/2" line is a pain in the ass trust me, and that if you cheap out then it wont be nearly as reliable as you need it to be. Piecing together a setup will easily come close to the price of a kit so you might as well go that route. No matter how you do the math, bags are expensive. Ask me how I know :p
 
So in your opinion would it be worth it to buy these? Or just go coilovers?

Ok i will be sending him the money tonight, i just wanted to make sure firsts lol... i have been reading page after page of info on airbag setups and i think i will have to spend a little bit on a management system like they were saying...i really like how the e-level system is a height based system so it will auto adjust no matter what weight is added to the car, but its so damn expensive lol.. i might just try and piece that system together over the course of a few months that way its not a big 2k hit lol
 
The autopilot V2 system (if i'm not mistaken) can always be upgraded to the E-level management system whenever you have the extra $$ to throw at it. But like David said (and i completely looked past it) but if thoese bags have been sitting for THAT long, they could be dickered. BUT, you can always replace the bag itself, but that runs into some $$$

But put it this way, if the bags have already sat for this long, they can sit a little longer untill you drop some $ and buy a proper management system. Trust me. piecing something together is going to be a big pita for you.
 
Ya hope they are not.. they have been sitting in their original plastic and boxes in his house i believe, so not outside or anything.. hope they are not lol i will be hooking my air compressor up to them when they get here lol
 


Ok so struts and stuff came in today.. everything looks good, they are def brand new, figured out that these are 9-way adjustable dampening so thats cool... my only issue is upon reading the instuctions for the rear install, it say " take off rear sway bar and mounts and discard"!!! Ummmm da fuq...NO! lol so looks like i will have to fab up a rear sway bar mount on the strut lol

Also will prob get another tank as this one is as big around as a 5 gallon bucket lol prob snag an aluminum tank eventually

 
I think bakerd did away with the rear sway bar so if worse comes to worse you should be able to remove it without to many worries.
 
Maybe he can chime in.. i mean i have no problem with making a bracket like the coilover guys do if need be

Also thought it was weird that the rears did not have a top mount, so looked up why and you have to modify your stock(or new) top mount... all of the air ride kits look like you have to do that, agai no big deal just thought it was weird lol
