The "cracking" sound you hear is because the motor hit the rev limiter. While driving the exhaust dosent have that crack at 4K or beyond.

Miller would be correct. They had a huge surplus on eBay for a long time when the 04+ first rolled out. Not sure how easy they are to find now, but you can also can get these puppies.
